We are pleased to have advised and acted for Australian toy distributor, Key Distribution, on its recent joint venture with toy wholesaler, Kawada Japan. The parties have joined forces to establish ‘Kawada Australia’ - a new toy distribution business that will seek to capitalise upon Kawada Japan’s extensive product lines and Key Distribution’s expertise in the local market.
The CD + Co team was led by Director John Coghlan, who was assisted by Lawyer, Patrick McGlynn.
Key Distribution is a prominent Melbourne toy and gift distributor. It has worked with high profile brands such as nanoblock®, Kinetic Sand® and PowerUp®.
Kawada Japan is Japan’s largest independent toy wholesaler. It manufactures popular brands including nanoblock®, papernano® and terablock®, which are sold in over 35 countries worldwide.
